Quartz var Eisenkiesel Specimen - Goose Green Mine, Frizington, Cumbria A great specimen of Eisenkiesel Quartz from the Goose Green Mine in Frizington, West Cumbria. The Eisenkiesel Quartz is the classic beautiful orange colour from the Hematite inclusions, are very well formed and in significant number over the piece. It is not often that specimens are available from this particular mine in the West Cumberland Iron Field. It will be supplied with the original label It measures 52 x 38 x 35mm and weighs 66g. ( All weights and measures are approximate ). This piece comes from a from a lifelong collector of minerals who self-collected from all over the world and the UK - having decided to 'down-size' his collection, my parents obtained many great pieces which I will be listing over the coming weeks.
