El Vampiro (Peliculas Nacionales, 1957)

El Vampiro (Peliculas Nacionales, 1957). Mexican One Sheet (27.5" X 37.5").
Released a full year before the Christopher Lee Horror of Dracula, the folks at Hammer Studios obviously saw this film before they made their version. German Robles plays the quintessential vampire, the aristocratic, sensual Count Lavud. With its dark and brooding atmosphere, it uncannily resembles the Hammer horror films. An interesting side note, this is the first vampire movie to show Dracula with fangs. In beautiful condition, this first time offer from Heritage is lightly toned and has had touch-up applied to the borders and folds. Very Fine- on Linen. Grade: 75, Service No.: 1417952
