This large Eldreth Pottery signed crock or canister has a wooden lid made by Eldreth as well. This is Lancaster County Pennsylvania pottery and one of my favorites. I have quite a few pieces, but since renovating our home and kitchen I am going with Eldreth redware rather than the salt glaze because of the colors of my kitchen. This piece is 7-5/8" tall (without the lid) and 8-1.4" in diameter. It shows a folk art bird. It is in like new condition.
