You are looking at a vintage Eleanor Roosevelt autographed White House calling card with accompanying 7/13/38 typed letter and envelope on White House stationery from "Administrative Officer" Ralph Magee and 5-1/2 x 9" sketch of the First Lady / Diplomat . The autographed calling card shows some light brown toning around the bottom corners, though Roosevelt's signature is unaffected. The sketch is on paper and partially affixed to cardboard (please see scans). The sketches were made by Government service engineer Charles T. Miller (1917-1987) who demonstrated his true passion in life by creating original art sketches which he then complemented by obtaining the signatures of his penciled subjects. This lot comes with a copy of the JSA auction LOA from Huggins & Scott Auctions.
