We are offering for bid a 1930's electric table lamp that has the base and brass parts by Davart. I was told, by a past president of a Stangl/Fulper pottery collectors club, the two pottery parts were made by Stangl with a Fulper flambe glaze. I replaced the socket receiver with a new one in the same shape because when I got this lamp at an antique auction, it had no cover for the socket receiver. I also rewired this lamp with 10' of two strand fabric covered wire like the original and a new two prong plug similar to the original---the existing wires were worn, broken, spliced and missing the insulation. The original metal parts of this lamp are solid brass, they are tarnished or have patina, but they are all in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks. The two pottery pieces are in excellent condition with no faults. The two pull chains work and the light bulbs will light in both sockets. All this lamp needs is a new shade and a finial. This lamp measures 21 1/2" to the top of the finial post and the pottery sections measure 10 1/2 " including the brass parts that are about 1". The lamp company Davart did lamp parts in conjunction with different pottery makers, we have a beautiful Roseville Rozane Ware Mongol lamp that was made by Davart.
