AMAZING VINTAGE OPEN ROSE BUTTER DISH It's my pleasure to list this stunning butter dish. It's GORGEOUS!! You are bidding on an OPEN ROSE butter dish in Smoke - made by Imperial Glass Co. It has superior iridescence - electric coloring, a strong mold strike, great design & in excellent condition - t are NO chips, cracks, repairs but, it does have 3 flakes on the rim of the lid which you only see when you lift the lid. All pictures are taken outside in natural light without a flash. Regarding glass items: I LOVE Carnival Glass but, am not an expert. I will describe the items to the best of my ability. These pieces are 100yrs old and the making of them was somewhat primitive. Tfore, carnival glass has mold marks, heat checks, bubbles & such that are NOT damage but, are part of manufacturing process - I will try to point these out but, can not note every little bubble.... After 100yrs of handling, t may be some wear or little flea bites to many of these pieces - I will disclose any damage & try to point out wear, flea bites & such but, I may not see every teeny tiny flea bite and will not accept returns for this. I have been asked to check some pieces with a magnifying glass - if you have to see something with a magnifying glass, it's not damage. These are old pieces and with age comes wear or little tiny imperfections: If you want perfect, don't bid on carnival - that's what gives these pieces character. All sales are final unless the item is grossly misrepresented - If I've made a mistake, I'll cover return shipping-t's no reason for you to be out anything because of my mistake - most sellers do not do this. Bidder must contact me within 24hrs of receiving item if t's a problem. I must receive the item back within 7 days of bidder receiving it, in same condition I sent it & my hidden mark still in place or refund will not be issued. Unfortunately, some bidders have tried to get items for virtually nothing because they found a "teeny flea bite" - I don't give partial refunds & I mark my items. It's sad that I have to do this. I take enough pictures (more then shown in auction) that this should not be an issue.
