Dear Buyers,What you are bidding on is a second-hand Electrix EQ Killer, part of a series of 1/2 rack-sized pro-audio units Electrix designed something like 15 years ago.Very nice EQs, FX and vocoder so I recall. This is their take on the DJs "kill switches" but much more. You've got 3 frequency bands with seperate level controls, dual inputs and an FX loop that takes the "killed" bands off to your tasty delay or multi-FX for audio sexy-time.The 3 "momentary" buttons can be used to play the frequency bands in time with the music. "Band Kill" buttons latch the effect on or off.Low and High cross-over controls set the width of each band but, crucially, can be used to create low and high pass sweeps. Input 1/2 switch sets which signal path goes through the circuitry. You've got a phono and line switch and a ground post for any turntablists out there (God bless vinyl). There's lots of excellent set-up examples in the manual, plus videos on You Tube.Original PSU and manual are present and correct, perhaps the box....................i'll have to go rummage. It was bought 2nd hand off eBay some years ago and used only in my smoke-free home studio. As I don't DJ, it's been too quiet recently and needs to go to a good home. Here's what the kind peoples on the internet say:- The Customizable Kill Box. Most EQs are too gentle to do anything dramatically read more
