ELEGANT!! "Art Deco" AMETHYST CRYSTAL GLASS Silver Negligee NECKLACE Offered here is an EXQUISITE example of an antique, ART DECO Crystal "Negligee" lariat necklace, estimated to be circa 1910/20's. This OUTSTANDING antique necklace features "2" DAZZLING, faceted "Amethyst" CRYSTAL glass jewels. They are two slightly different sizes with different faceting designs , which can be distinguished in the first photo ....with one also displaying a pointed tip and the other a flattened tip . The larger crystal measures 1/2 inch wide by 1 1/4 inches tall and the smaller crystal measures 3/8 inch wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. The Crystals are each capped with pierced FILIGREE "Lily" Petals and they suspend from a DELICATE peanut link style chain which is adorned with four Amethyst glass rondells. This is a LARIAT style necklace that does not have a clasp and it loops in the front. The metal is unmarked....and guaranteed to be STERLING. The Crystals in this necklace are faceted in such a way that the Light Refractions are BEAUTIFUL!! The total length is 20 inches. This SWEET antique necklace is in EXCELLENT vintage condition!! There are no scratches on the Crystals although upon closer inspection the larger crystal has a few teeny nicks on the facets visible with magnification ONLY....and the smaller crystal has a small chip on one bottom corner that can be seen when held to the light.
