Brand new custom painted Breyer Stablemate by Amanda Greaves (Ymagier Studios) This is a refined and repainted mini custom model horse based on one of the newer (G4) Breyer Stablemates moulds, the Dressage Horse. This stallion could make a make a very nice performance model with the addition of a rider and tack, with his extended trot pose. He's actually had quite a bit of work done to refine his legs, and also slightly slim down and define his body, giving him a more realistic look.I also . I removed his belly logo and reduced any remaining seams. I will supply the model with a small stand - in a choice of grass flock or arena surface flock finish, or I can add a permanent plastic rod to the raised foreleg for extra stability. He does stand nicely on a flat surface, but this mould is famously tippy, and I strongly recommend he has some help to prevent him falling over and doing himself some damage. The model was undercoated in a tough white spray-on enamel primer, before I painted him by hand in thin brush-on acrylics to a boldly-marked piebald. I have done some 'mapping' in pastels, and slight white hair effect detailing around the edges of some of his white markings. He also has narrow blaze on his face and a small amout of pinking on his nose. The markings are based on a real horse for realism. This is the second example
