Lovely etched Elegant Depression glass decanter. Minton encrusted gold band around the body and etched baskets and cornucopias with floral swags decorate the bottom. 2 plain gold bands decorate the top. Stopper also has a gold top. Maybe a rare depression piece. I don't know the maker, maybe Tiffin since they made the gold encrusted Minton motif on lots of their glassware, but I couldn't find this etched design anyw It stands 12 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" at the widest portion. No cracks or chips to the decanter or stopper. T are 2 pits on the flat top portion of the bottle, see close up photo. Stopper does not fit snuggly, but believe it is the original stopper for the piece. T is a section on the motif w the 2 baskets come together and they are not separated by the swag drape, also photographed. Thanks for looking : ) Almost everything I sell is vintage.
