For your consideration, this absolutely beautiful specimen of the glass blowers art. Perthshire, famous for paperweights, has branched out with this unique combination inkwell/paperweight. Multiple row of canes from bright green to pale green to light blue, dark blue and purple ordain the bottom which then reflects to the upper inkwell portion creating the image of two layers of canes seperated by crystal clear glass. Dark cobalt blue base with original Perthshire Paperweights Crieff Scotland decal still in place. Top piece (stopper) features five full length blue ribbons. Piece of course has the traditional trademark "P" at the center assuring Perthshire quality and authenticity. Wonderfully sized piece measures a full 5 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" diameter at base.
