Up for auction is without a doubt the most beautiful trio of French style nesting tables, ca. 1940's. Constructed of walnut, the tables feature a gorgeous floral inlay set against a backround of what appears to be a burled walnut veneer. The larger oval shaped table displays two half round side shelves with brass gallery. The carving on the slender cabriolet legs is discreetly highlighted with gold gilt. Also, each table is protected with a custom cut glass top. Other than some very minor rubbing to the bottom portion edge of the painted trim (middle table), the condition and appearance is excellent ! Please note that the outdoor pics tend to lighten the color the wood just a bit. The dimensions are: large table 27 1/2" wide x 18" depth x 25 1/2" height (28 1/4" wide including shelves); middle table 16 1/2" x 16 3/4" x 24 1/4" height; small table 15 x 13 3/4" x 23" height; weight of tables is 29 pounds * with glass = 36 lbs. I strongly recommend shipping via Greyhound GPX to the terminal in your hometown or the town nearest you. S/H/I is $69 to most of the lower 48 states. It will be necessary to retrieve the tables upon arrival. Actual (without handling) Fedex ground Home Delivery shipping cost from San Francisco ranges from $94 to a maximum of $114. Please note that if shipped via Fedex, I will charge a nominal handling fee, especially with glass. Please email for a Fedex quote to your residential zipcode. Personal check or money order must be received within 7 DAYS of the close of auction and shipping is within 2 days of receipt of payment. If you are the winning bidder, it is necessary to reply to my direct email invoice within 24 hours of the close of auction to exchange information - I do not use Ebay Checkout to communicate with my customers.
