An elegant Santo Domingo Pueblo serpentine and silver bead necklace and earring set by Ed Aguilar (d.), signed "Ed Aguilar 12-6-76" in script on the silver cones of both the earrings and the necklace. Ed was born and raised on the Santo Domingo Pueblo Reservation, creating jewelry for over 40 years. He studied silversmithing at boarding school in Santa Fe, and at the premature death of his father, he started making jewelry to support his mother and his siblings. The earrings match perfectly and are also signed. The necklace measures 26" in length, laid out in a straight line, the earrings measure 2 1/8" long, not including the wires. Necklace weighs 69 grams, total weight of set is 74 grams. Excellent vintage and collectible condition. All sales, as in any auction, are final. If this is not acceptable to you, please don't bid.
