This crucifix came out of a large collection where the original collector died over 30 years ago so, there is no way of telling the age of this cross. There are 6 square cut Garnets mounted in 24K gold. As you can see in the photos, the Garnets are clear, without imperfections or impurities. The gold mounting was smartly designed to let light pass through, showing the Garnet's beauty. The cross is a study in elegant simplicity. There is an accompanying chain complimenting the cross. And the cross is in original condition, not repaired or altered. The measurements are approximately 7/8" across X 1 1/4" deep X 1/8" thick.A very elegant gift or a handsome addition to your jewelry collection. CR 4
