Maker Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, London, 1853 Description A really beautiful teapot with good, sharp decorative engraving. Hall marked on base, lid and handle. No obvious repairs although it is possible that an earlier inscription to a side panel has been erased - see photograph. Very minor dents and scratches commensurate with age. Measurements (approx) Length 10in or 25cm (spout to handle) Width 6.5in or 16.5cm Height 8.5in or 21cm Weight 754gm or 26oz Postage The postage costs are quoted for 'signed for' but with minimal insurance cover. I will obtain a certificate of posting and supply a tracking number but if you require insurance to the full value you have bid, I will be happy to provide a price to the successful bidder.
