The Elementary Spelling-Book Noah Webster 1857 Home Pictures Antique Books These are two antique books that were found in a chest with other items and clothing from the mid to late 1800's to the early 1900's. Everything was kept in great condition. No bad smells. The Elementary Spelling-Book by Noah Webster L L. D was published in 1857. There is minimal peeling on the cover and the corner of the back cover is torn. There is minimal tearing to some of the pages but the binding is pretty secure. Home Pictures is missing its title page so I don't know who the author is or when it was published. The inside cover does have writing of who the owner was and the date October 1, 1873. The binding is a little loose.
