Vintage Blown Glass ELEPHANT This is a very unique figural ornament. I am not sure I have ever seen an elephant like this made of mercury glass is in such excellent condition... I do not know his production date or manufaturer. His upward stretched trunk reaches about 2-3/4 inches high, and is about 3 inches wide from the tip of his tail to his trunk. I see NO chips, cracks or scratches. The silver of the glass is in perfect order. In some of the pictures it appears that the color is cloudy, but that is just the way the light reflects off him. The tips of his feet and ears are clear. His tusks are a cloudy, almost pearly, white. He has a perfectly, intact sticker on his belly and it reads "MADE IN GERMANY" Please let me know if I left anything out. I took a lot of pictures hoping I caught all you would need. The gift of an ornament connects the giver and the recipient through the heartwarming emotion and lasting memories it inspires.
