MARTIN'S PRESS 1988 FIRST EDITION Although he was introduced onto the world stage by his ex-wife/writer, Isak Dinesen in her great book Out of Africa, hunters and fans of hunting know that Bror Blixen had long been known as a great hunter and friend to some of the most famous that Africa had to offer. This wonderfully done book has gatd several of Blixen's personal letters, written in that magical golden age of Africa, giving insight to an adventurous spirit and compelling man. He figures prominently in such masterpieces of East African literature as Out of Africa by Isak Dinesen, West with the Night by Beryl Markham, and Straight On Till Morning by Mary S. Lovell.
