KM 116, Schon 11, two year type, issued by the Archbishopric of Olmutz. Olmutz received the right to issue its own coins in 1144, but issued few coins until it was raised to an Archbishopric in the 1600s. Until 1640, Olmutz was the capital of Moravia. Silver crown, with the archbishop on the obverse.
The coin was minted using the roller die method, which was commonly used in the Austrian area at this time. The coin is, tfore, slightly curved. This type is valued at 400 euros ($606) in XF, with no value listed for higher grades. A previous owner graded this coin as Unc; I am a slightly more conservative. Domestic buyer pays $10.00 for postage and insurance; international buyer pays actual cost. For international shipments, payment by PayPal may not be accepted, if the shipment is not fully insured.
