Here it is! One of the most collectible compacts ever, this "Bird of Paradise" themed wrist-compact is in near-mint condition, ready to add to your collection or give to that special someone. Crafted in Elgin, Illinois at the former Elgin American Watch Case Factory in the late 1920's, this rare, desirable piece features delicate Art Deco machining on its silver-tone body and a stenciled design in shades of blue. Imagine this on the wrist of a flapper girl out for the evening -- she had everything she needed at her fingertips! Comes with original chain, original blush still intact (with part of cellophane wrapping, and the original tortoise-shell comb. Mirror is near-perfect (only a few very small age-spots). This tiny treasure measures 1-5/8" wide, 3" long and has all its original paint. (If you hold it up to the light, there is some crazing in one area, but absolutely no chips.) Grab this one now - you won't see it often. (Check out my other listings for more like this!)
