For your consideration is an Elgin National Coffee Mill Grinder No. 42 from Woodruff & Edwards.

It is a double wheel store coffee mill.

It is in excellent antique condition with original paint, decals, stenciling, finial and wood handle.

The twin wheels have labels cast in the iron that say:

· Elgin National Coffee Mill.

· Woodruff & Edwards Co. Elgin Illinois

I do not know much about antique coffee mills but I found some info on the web. The company started in 1889 and stopped making coffee mills in 1917

Measurements :

· Wheels are 17" diameter

· Approximately 31" tall to the top of the finial.

· 12" wide

Weight:

60 pounds

Condition:

· The mill is in excellent antique condition with the normal signs of age. It was stored in an attic for decades.

· The dark red paint and decals are in good condition as is the original eagle finial.

· The mill is perfectly clean, shiny and smooth to the touch. Just ready for the show room again!!

I passed a pound of roasted coffee through it and it works great. The twin large free wheels really get it going!!!

These antique country store grinders are very hard to find and especially in this kind of condition

Don't miss this one!!!
