My reason for shipping: I usually lose money on shipping, East coast costs me more than west coast post fees, I tried the EBAY calculator and people complained about the high fees when I did not even make the determination, I live in the country and travel to get shipping packages/supplies and to the post office. I do not ask Buyers to pay more when I miss calculate and see this procedure as evening everything out. If you want special postal features such as tracking or insurance, etc. then include the additional necessary postage to cover the value of the item.
