Up for auction/sale is a print of an etching by Elizabeth O'Neill Verner of the entrance way into South Carolina's Washington Square Park, which some sources say was originally done in the 20's - 30's. I am told this print was purchased directly from the Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Studio in the 60's or 70's, but the only evidence I have is what looks like a small paper business art card which bares the artwork title, and I've placed this in a pouch on the reverse.I kept this in the original sleeve until I found what I felt was the perfect frame to accent this wonderfully detailed print. The print itself is in near perfect condition with no notable flaws and has been mounted in four large acid-free photo mounts on the reverse of the matting to ensure it is preserved going forward. The frame is also what I believe to be 60's era with simple side accented by four scroll style corners. The frame is solid (most likely oak) with a reddish brown stain over a golden tone. Inside of this I've used a rose/ping/gray granite looking bevel cut mat to bring out the print. The overall size of the frame is roughly 19" T x 15" W with an image area of 11 ½" x 8 ½". The frame has a frosted style preservation glass, and I've applied a fresh dust protector. The hanging eyelets are original to the frame as well, but I've restrung them with Softstrand plastic
