Unfinished Elk Skin Shirt Elk skin shirt is partially assembled with front and back, right sleeve is attached and the front fringe is in place. Left sleeve, two sleeve fringe panels, rear shoulder fringe panel and extra scaps that were to be used for the neck/collar fringes are included. See photo 3 for scraps, lacing, sleeve and uncut fringe strips. A project for someone that does not get bored easily. The shirt is displayed on a female mannequin and can be finished for either male or female. T are no plans with shirt but it seems to have numerous punched out marks in place. Shirt measures 38" chest, 25" sleeve (shoulder to tip) and 32+" length (extras length for making fringed bottom). We were told shirt comes apart if someone wanted to stitch it differently with another style or to possibly cut the shirt for a smaller female, teen or youth size. With the low no-reserve, opening price, auction it's a great value. Elk skins 2-3 years old and value was placed at $250.00 to $300.00 estimated if purchased retail. VERY GOOD - Assembly incomplete. Due to the nature of natural skins, some flaws or marks may be present. Two such flaws were found on left sleeve (photo 3) with assembly placing them on the side, towards the rear of the sleeve.
