Elks BPOE

Up for auction is this fine, vintage, 10k yellow gold, Elks tooth fob with SPECIAL ANTLERS!.

This beautiful fob features a very detailed bust of an elk with red stone eyes on a large gold capped tooth. The gold backing has BPOE on either side of the elk in blue enamel as well as a textured top banner reading Cervus Alces in blue. T is an eleven o'clock clock below the banner, resting in the elk's antlers, in white enamel. The hidden Antlers read BPOE!!!! Great chase work surrounds the top. The back is engraved Dakland Cal 171. This item stands 42.7mm (1 21/32") tall, 24.5mm (31/32") wide and weighs in at a nice 11.2 grams.
