Up for auction is a Midwest Elliott Bay steam launch kit #988. This kit was recently discontinued and is no longer available from Midwest Products. This is a model of the actual Elliott Bay company's steam launch which in turn is a recreation of the wood launches of the late 19th century. This is new, unused and ready to assemble for Summer fun. The kit has an ABS plastic hull with laser-cut mahogany wood and brass details, stuffing box and prop. This is made to use the Midwest Heritage preassembled #987 model steam engine and your 2-channel radio surface control components. The length is 25-1/4" by 6-7/8".
