CassieMay 22, 2009 at 11:48 am4 pounds 15 ounces20 inches Hi! My name is Cassie and I began as an Elly Knoops "Luca" sculpt. First I was given a warm bubble bath to remove any factory residue. Then I was ready to be reborn. I was created using Genesis heat set paints, with several layers to give me a realistic skintone. This process took many hours to accomplish. I have hand applied wispy upper and lower eyelashes, Masterpiece Sable Brown eyes, barely t eyebrows and delicately painted lips. My nose has been opened and backed with dark felt to give the appearance of breathing. My arms and legs are full Berenguer limbs so you can dress me in many different outfits from preemie size to newborn. My body is a high quality flesh colored doe suede made by Moon Baby Designs. It has been stuffed with premium poly fil for a wonderful soft feel and is weighted with ultra fine glass beads. Cassie's hair has been micro rooted one or two strands at a time with a fine gauge needle. It has taken days to complete but was worth the effort. The hair is a beautiful medium brown premium angora mohair which was sealed from the inside with a waterproof glue. It is so soft and t is no frizz. You can dampen the hair and style it gently.
