Elme Sweden Aqua Cased Glass Vase Gunnar Ander Label DESCRIPTION: Wonderful and Stunning Aqua Cased Glass Vase with dimple or pinched front. The interior is white cased glass. This Vase was designed by Gunnar Ander and produced by Elme of Sweden. The base of the vase still has a small label that reads “Made in Sweden”. The rim has a touch of gold finish. This is hand blown glass with a soft pontil on the base. CONDITION: Used; or should I say previously owned and displayed in someone’s home. This is an estate sale find. The Vase is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs. The rim is smooth to the touch; however, the gold is showing wear. There are minor scratches to the top layer of clear glass under very strong light. Under normal light they can not be seen; very typical of vintage glass. There is base wear commensurate with its age. Vintage glass may show characteristics of age, including allowable base wear, bubbles, pattern irregularities, straw marks (inclusions/cooling marks) or mold marks. While free of cracks, chips and excessive wear (unless specified above), pieces may show signs of gentle use, including light utensil marks and color variations .
