The ELSHOLZ COLLECTION of EARLY AMERICAN GLASS - 3 Volume Set.
Beautifully produced auction catalogues, in 3 hardcover volumes, for the aution that took place at the Bourne Estate Auctioneers, Massachusetts, in September 1986, May 1987, and November 1987.
Large format hardcover books, no dustjackets as issued, 9" x 11", 531 total pages. 1,892 total items were auctioned in the three auctions. A prices-realized sheet is laid in to each volume.
Illustrated throughout with b&w and color photographs of many of the items being offered.
VERY GOOD condition, lightly used condition, a bit of general wear to the covers, a few pencil notations of prices-realized beside some of the estimates, overall very nice, tight, bright, and clean. A lovely, solid set of these 3 volumes.
An important reference work for anyone interested in Early American Glass. The Elsholz collection was one of the finest collections ever put together.
