Well, I'm so happy it's summer! I'm an early riser and the birds starting to sing before 5:00 is just wonderful!!!! If I ever complain about the sun or the heat, I hope you will remind me that winter will return!!! Please take a minute to look at all my items for sale today. My linen inventory is huge right now, as I have purchased several entire estates. While I especially feature vintage linens, I'm always finding something else to add to my merchandise, lots of old kitchen items, yellow ware, glassware or primitives. My husband and I have made our hobby collecting, and we truly love to be in the car in search of new treasures. I hope some of them are just what you are seeking!
For sale today is a terrific old cookie jar featuring Elsie the Cow! This jar is 12" high and with the lid off, it's 8" high. Elsie is resting on her elbows with her hoofs resting on the edge of the barrel. She has a yellow collar with black dots and looks terrific. The jar looks like a barrel and in script says, "Elsie". and "Handle with Care". On the back it says fragile and Use no Hooks. I could not find a maker mark on this jar, but was assured from the owner that it had been his mothers and part of the family as long as he can remember. He is in his 50's. It's a great jar! And it's perfect! Enjoy!! Please see my other auctions this week. I have lovely vintage linens, as always, and a few other interesting items. I'm happy to answer questions and to combine shipping for multiple purchases. I have few returns because I work hard to describe things accurately. Please ask questions, however.
