________________________________________ AFFORDABLE MEMORABILIA OF MEMPHIS Lakeland, TN 38002 USA ________________________________________ THIS ITEMS DETAILS: ONE SHEET FROM ONE OF ELVIS' FAVORITE BOOKS Up for auction is one sheet from Elvis' personal owned book, 'The Prophet'. The sheet has one partial sentence that was underlined in pen by Elvis. The book originally had 22 pages in it that had hand written notes on them. They have ALL been sold. It is well known that Elvis shared his enjoyment & love of The Prophet with other members of his group and family and he would occassionally hand out copies of the book to close friends and family. This very edition was printed in 1946 and may have been in his possession for many years. As stated, he hand wrote notes on 22 pages in the book. He eventually signed the inside cover page of the book, addressed it to his Aunt Delta Biggs and gave it to her. Along with the sheet from the book, you will get a comb bound booklet that includes a color copy of a letter from Aunt Delta Biggs from 1978 and a color copy of a letter from Uncle Vester from 1981 typed on original EPE letterhead. These letters authenticate the hand writing and the underlines. You also get a copy of the inscription page.
