Sizing info:

WAIST: (Your waist location is approx. 3-4 inches BELOW your navel. This is approximately w the waistband of the jacket should fit.) If your waist measures larger than 38" OVER THE TOP OF YOUR CLOTHING (36-38" would fit fine), please do not bid on this jacket. The waistband of the jacket is 40" but it fits over your pants so you have to allow for approximately an extra 2" to fit over your pants.

STOMACH: (Measure exactly around the center of your navel area) If your stomach measures larger than 38" around OVER THE TOP OF YOUR CLOTHING (36-38" would fit fine), please do not bid on this jacket. It will be too tight.

UPPER CHEST: (Measure while inhaling) If your upper chest measures larger than 42" OVER THE TOP OF YOUR CLOTHING (40-42" would fit fine) please do not bid on this item because it will be too tight. The chest on this jacket measures 44 inches but you need at least 2" breathing room.

SLEEVE LENGTH : The sleeve measures approximately 23" from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the sleeve. Elvis wore the sleeves slightly short and FOLDED UP. With the sleeves FOLDED UP, the jacket measures 21" from shoulder seam to bottom of sleeve. (Wide leather wristbands will compensate for sleeves that fit slightly short just like Elvis' Wristbands did).

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER: This measurement is approximately 19" across the back of the shoulders (seam to seam.) The shoulder area is a little more forgiving. If your shoulders measure approx. 18-20 inches across, this jacket should fit nicely in the shoulder area. (If you own a "Sports Coat" you may take its "Shoulder to Shoulder" measurement and compare it to this Elvis style jacket to see how the sizes compare.)

LENGTH OF JACKET: The length (in the back) from the bottom of the neck seam to the bottom of the jacket is approximately 24". Remember this was designed as a "short style" jacket . Please take this measurement to make sure the length is correct.

COLLAR SIZE: The collar is the classic "high collar" Elvis style and measures approximately 3 inches high all the way around.

VERY IMPORTANT.... I cannot stress enough the importance of taking your measurements with a flexible measuring tape. DO NOT RELY ON YOUR REGULAR PANT OR SPORTCOAT SIZES!!!! After taking your measurements, please use your best judgement as to whether this jacket will fit.
