We have a few more pages from The Prophet, but this is the last one with hand written notes by Elvis. The book had 22 pages in it that had hand written notes on them. The other 21 pages have all previously been sold individually, so this is the very last chance to obtain one of the 22 pages. The sheet with notes on it, also has a few lines on both sides of the sheet, that have underlines done in pen by Elvis. In addition to this sheet, you will obtain 2 other sheets from the book. One of them has a print/sketch on it. The other is one of the front sheets from the book, with the title of the book listed along with the name of some of the authors other books. Finally, you will also receive the ORIGINAL letters from Uncle Vester and Aunt Delta, authenticating the book and all the notes and underlines in it. All these documents are the originals, not copies. It is well known that Elvis shared his enjoyment & love of The Prophet with other members of his group and family and he would occassionally hand out copies of the book to close friends and family. This very edition was printed in 1946 and may have been in his possession for many years. He hand wrote notes on 22 pages in the book. He eventually signed the inside cover page of the book, addressed it to his Aunt Delta Biggs and gave it to her. Along with the 3 sheets from the book, one of them with notes by Elvis, and the original letters from Uncle Vester and Aunt Delta, you will get a comb bound booklet that includes the customary color copy of the letter from Aunt Delta Biggs from 1978 and the customary color copy from Uncle Vester from 1981. You also get a copy of the inscription page. In addition to the copies of the letters, the booklet includes several color pictures of the book, one of them with the very page shown below with the hand written notes from page 53 . Pictures of the complete book prior to the sheets having been removed are shown below. You will also get a Certificate of Authenticity from Affordable Memorabilia of Memphis . In addition, we will include a seperate booklet which compares the hand writing in this book to other known hand writings of Elvis, for your own comparison.
