Elvis Presley "Original" 1977 Print with dated Tennessee Notary Public stamp printed at bottom corner. An Original 1977 Print and "NOT a reprint, copy, or remake." Ask any Elvis enthusiasts, they haven't seen this print and in fact during the first ever auction at Graceland, there was a lot of chatter as to what happened to that Graceland painting. It wasn't on any inventory sheet or manifest. That's because Elvis sold the painting of Graceland for $50,000, on August 2, 1977, to Col. Don B. Smith, an Auctioneer, just two weeks before he passed. The painting was a gift to Elvis and hung on the wall at Graceland for many years. It was some quick cash as he was just starting a new tour. Unfortunately, Elvis passed exactly two weeks later. Col. Smith made a limited amount of prints directly from that painting. This is one of those rare prints. There was one found in an old house recently and it was in a frame, but yellowed and stained. It was posted for $200 on eBay. These are near mint, if not mint condition. They measure approx. 12 1/2" X 18 1/2". In the bottom righthand corner it's printed with a copywright and notice of ownership and to the right of that is a copy of the Notary Public's info. from Shelby County, Tenn. Dated August 2, 1977 and seal affixed. All part of this Super Rare Original, 1977 print. Excellent Condition. No read more
