________________________________________ AFFORDABLE MEMORABILIA OF MEMPHIS Lakeland, TN 38002 USA ________________________________________ THIS ITEMS DETAILS: GENUINE PAGE FROM ONE OF ELVIS' MORE INTERESTING OWNED BOOKS - NOT A COPY - WILL BE SENT TO YOU WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING PAYMENT, NOT INCLUDING WEEKENDS This is the 2nd and final book we have of Elvis'. It came from the same reputable large Elvis collec tor whom sold us Elvis' copy of 'The Prophet'. We would love to get another book out of private hands or a museum sometime in the future. We will see if we can eventually find another genuine one that is interesting and which is not priced out of this world! Up for auction is one actual sheet (Page #31 shown with #32 on the back. You will get this exact sheet with pages #31 and #32 on it) from a very interesting book that Elvis owned and apparently read on stage in Las Vegas in early September of 1974. This sheet is not a copy. It is the actual sheet from the book. The book is called 'O'GRADY - The Life and Times of Hollywood's No. 1 Private Eye'. John O'Grady was a private investigator that worked for Elvis in the early 1970's. He wrote a book about his experiences, and one of the chapters pertained to Elvis. The chapter was mainly about a paternity suit that had been filed against Elvis and how John O'Grady went about proving that the suit was bogus. In the chapter, John goes on to praise Elvis and it was a book that Elvis was apparently proud of. Below is a picture of Elvis reading from this book on stage. Also below is a letter from Uncle Vester authenticating the book and stating that he received the book from Elvis. Elvis went on to hand out other copies of this book to a few other inner circle members, so we are not claiming to have the sole copy of this book with an Elvis connection. However, this book has a few pages (5 in total) that have various hand written notes by Elvis. Per the below listed pictures, please inspect the hand written notes for yourself carefully, and if in doubt as to their authenticity, maybe a neutral third party could aid in your conclusion. Please note that you will get a seperate booklet which includes a copy of most of the letters in the alphabet as was hand written (print versus cursive) by Elvis in various other documents (ie, his 1970 letter to Nixon, amongst other), so you can compare for yourself the authenticity of the hand written notes in this book. Also below is a copy of partial correspondence we had with the Elvis collector whom we purchased this book from, stating that this is the book that Elvis read on stage. Elvis had obtained an advance copy of the book, as he stated on stage, indented the corners of the pages related to him and had made v arious notes in the book. Elvis had seemingly not written all the notes in the book during one sitting. Some of the underlined and hand written notes we re done in blue ink while others were done in black ink. We are selling off the actual pages individually from this book. It is a unique opportunity to purchase a part of something that Elvis apparently had on stage, of which t is a picture of the item in his hands! We cannot prove that this is the book he had on stage and Vester's letter makes no reference to it having been on stage. However, the collector, whom we have previously done business with, stated via e-mail correspondence that this is the book he had on stage. Take it for what it's worth. Given that it has multiple colored ink hand written notes by Elvis in the book, on the pages that he read from on stage, some of the notes which Elvis even mentioned on stage, it seems plausible that this is the book. In the picture, Elvis even seems to be looking towards the bottom of the page, which is w the notes in the book are. The collector we purchased the book from provided us with the below shown photo as well as an audio recording of Elvis on stage in Las Vegas, as he holds the book in his hands. He discusses the chapte...
