This numbered collector card contains a authentic strand of Elvis Presley's hair. It was retained by Elvis' barber, Homer "Gill" Gilleland, after one of the haircuts he did for the King at Graceland. The reverse side of the card contains a copy of the handwritten letter of authenticity from Mr. Gilleland himself , documenting the hair. Hair that was personally collected by Mr. Gilleland is in such high demand that a small jar of it sold for over $100,000 in a highly publicized auction just a couple of years ago. In addition, you will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity from my Elvis memorabilia company, Touched By The King. T are many people selling "Elvis hair", buy from someone with a 100% feedback rating who specializes in original Elvis owned items . A little more about this hair: Years ago Mr. Gilleland was selling locks of Elvis' hair in Memphis...all of the ones that he sold came on a white card with gold embossed lettering...the authenticity of any "Gilleland" Elvis hair purchased by other dealers for resale without the original display is compromised. When inquiring about Elvis hair, ask the dealer if their hair is from Homer Gilleland and if it came with the original display...many are selling fake hair without knowing that they themselves were duped.
