Hello Elvis fans & collectors. I have been selling some of my Elvis autographs since the summer and this is my last piece. I am a private collector, so I don't issue COA's, (unless one was issued to me) but will stand behind these 100% and will offer a full refund if not satisfied for any reason. Elvis had many different ways of signing his name and they differed by year or by what he was signing, for example, a contract had a different signature than a fan's item, but t was always these characteristics: the P was the dominant letter, the signature had an upward right slant (except on contracts w he had to sign on a line) and it is mostly on one line, as opposed to top & bottom. Also, the majority of the signatures are in ball point pen as that's what most folks carried around back then. T were no sharpies yet, and certainly no gold or silver markers. I have included a link from an Elvis website that helps in determining authenticity of Elvis autographs: ///ElvisAutographs.html This particular piece was signed in the late 50's while Elvis was stationed in Germany. It is a German postcard signed on the back in blue ballpoint. Elvis' habit was to usually signed photos & postcards on the backside in the early days. The black marks are felt from when it was stored in an old style scrapbook, but the signature is unaffected and is a perfect example. This one does come with a COA from the European collector. I am also showing you a scan of a similar autographed postcard that sold in Sothebys for over 700.00! They are from the same time period and match up perfectly. Postage is 4.50 in the USA and insurance is required. PAYPAL accepted.
