PRESENTS Elysee Parthenon Laque Trajan Rouge Fountain Pen 18K-750 "F" "JEWELRY THAT WRITES" Elysee introduced the Parthenon line in 1992, its largest and most elaborately designed pen. This was the final new line for Elysee until the company closed in 2000. Elysee is well known for innovative and exciting jeweler's designs and this can be seen in the elaborate patterns in the Parthenon pens. Parthenon pens are decorated using the Cloisonne technique, w Chinese lacquer is filled into cells cut or fitted with wire on the surface of the pen and is the signature look of Elysee's top line. All of the Parthenon models are fitted with very smooth and wet writing nibs. In the book "Fountain Pens Past and Present" by Paul E. Erano, you will find examples of these pens on page 229.
