Up for auction is a rare antique Cherry Sparkle soda tin over cardboard adverti sing sign. Measuring 6" x 13.25", the sign features an Alfred E Neumann looking chap drinking a Sherry Sparkle next to a shield containing the Cherry Sparkle logo and the "The Taste Tells the Tale" slogan. The Man and the shield parts of the sign are em bossed into t he tin. Overall the sign is in very good condition with a few very minor issues. First, there is a tiny spot of surface rust just to the left of the shield (most noticeable in pic 2) . Next, there are two very faint scuff lines on the shield (Most noticeable in pics 6 and 7 ). Finally, there are three very faint crease lines which appear to have been caused by something being stored on top of the sign at some point in history. These are only noticeable when viewed at an angle in the light, and I've taken photos of both (Photos 10 and 11). None of these issues de tract much from the sign, but (as always ) I call out anything I see so that there are no surprise s for the buyer. I've taken a lot of close up photos of the sign so please check them out and see for yourself how great this piece looks. These don't come up for sale very often, so don't miss out on the opportunity to add this sign to your collection. It is being offered at a $9.99 opening bid and no reserve. High bidder gets it!Buyer
