This is a classic beauty-- a Grace Kelly sort of ring. Timeless and stunning, elegant and wearable. It came from a little dealer I know named Paul has some of the most gorgeous emeralds I have ever seen in one place. Figuring there are a lot of May birthdays out there I decided to take this one home with me. I believe this to be a natural stone and if I am correct, this is truly a bargain-- I have priced it to make you happy no matter if it is a natural or lab created stone. The color is BRIGHT-- much more so than my camera was able to capture. It is a true medium emerald green with a strong blue undertone. The center stone is approx 7 x 5 mm and weighs an estimated 1.21 carats. It shows inclusions under magnification which lead me to believe it is an earth mined stone-- but the color is so fantastic it gives me pause. I have tried to photograph this in bright sunlight so that you can see what I mean. The color looks a little washed out as a result-- in person it is BRIGHT. The center stone is flanked by three tiny diamonds in a triangular shape on each side. It weighs 2.3 grams and is a size 6. This ring can be easily re-sized and is in fantastic condition. It looks unworn and is marked for 14K plumb gold (which means it is truly 14K and not 13.5K-- until 1981 rings could be called 14K that were only 13.5K). The emerald has long read more
