Offered for your consideration is a very nice Emerson 3 speed oscillating desk fan with 9 inch brass blades, it stands 14 inches tall and the cage is 10 inches across. The Emerson Electric and Manufacturing Company of St. Louis, Missouri, manufactured the highest quality fans made in the United States from 1891 until the mid-1960s. I purchased this fan from a fan collector 2 years ago and have used on a daily basis in the bedroom, kitchen and office, the wiring and green felt on the base were replaced at that time with period correct replacements. I have recently repainted the base and cage with an epoxy paint for a durable finish that will last for many years to come. Prior to this listing the fan was completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. It has three speeds and each speed is distinctly different, the oscillator is adjustable from 0 to 90 degrees using a thumbwheel and is working correctly. The brass blades are in excellent condition and appear to have the original factory brass paint finish. The brass tag on the motor housing reads"The Emerson Electric Mfg. Co., volts 110, type 29645, cycles 60, speed (blank), No. 12635, MADE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR ALTERNATING CURRENT. This fan is 85 years old and is now ready for another 85 years of service, you only need to plug it in and enjoy a nice piece of working history. I accept money orders, Bidpay and Paypal, buyer to pay shipping and insurance. I ship USPS, pack carefully and use plenty of bubblewrap.
