Original oil painting by listed US artist, painted in 1967. Beautiful painting in original massive frame. It measures 49.6'' x 41.3'' framed and 30.5'' x 39.5'' unframed. It represents St. Peter's in Rome. It is appraised for about $6,000-$8,000; however, I am offering it at a lower price as it needs some restoration (3 spots on the lower side) The overall condition is great and the painting is really beautiful. Please, do not hesitate to ask questions or request more photos. The previous owner bought it from an art gallery in West Palm Beach, FL around 20 years ago. I love it but am moving abroad and cannot take all of my pieces with me. Local pick up is welcomed. The frame is included. Emerson Burkhart (1905-1969) was an American artist based in Columbus, Ohio. Listed artist who painted over 3,000 pieces over his 40 year painting career. Some of his pieces have sold for $40,000 and $28,000.
