The radio has no cracks but has a small chip near the volume knob that I almost missed when I inspected it. The speaker makes noise but the radi did not receive a station. Both controls turn freely. This is an older model from Emerson dated 1955. Please see my auctions for other transistor radios from the 50's and 60's.
