They are hand painted with pure silver accents. Underneath they are marked Emilia Castillo, Plata Pura (Pure Silver) Mexico 98 MR. Salt is marked 31 and pepper is 14 - they also have the original purchase labels on the underside. I can email you a photo of the marks if necessary - just contact me with your request. Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, or stains - just a bit dusty. They retain their original stoppers.
