PRESENTING AN ANTIQUE EMPIRE FIGURED FLAME WALNUT BOW FRONT SERVER OR DRESSER. This great old Empire style chest Features a beautifu,l highly figured Flame Walnut wood grain. With large, scrolled Empire coner plynths framing the Bowed design front. The finish is original, a warm walnut that brings out the amazing Figured grain patterns. T is some wear, nicks & marks, worn corner edge on the left side (& a chip on back corner in the area once covered by a mirror) that were touched up as you can see in the photos. Overall it presents nicely as you can see & ready for use in your home. Extra generous, wide curved lower drawers have Dovetailed joinery. Triple top drawers indicate this may have been a server chest. All drawers have their original Mortise locks & brass key escutchions & original walnut turned knobs. Cabinet rests on large, curled Empire feet. Measures 50.5 inches wide, 25 inches deep & 35 inches high.
