Wehave for your viewing and bidding pleasure a collectible enamelporcelain round metal advertising sign. The sign is motor scooter related. On a white background the sign advertises Vespa SERVICE. The name Vespa, if we recall correctly was the name of a motor scooter from around the 1950's or 1960's era. The name Vespa on the sign is in dark blue writing with the word SERVICE in white 1 3/4” block letters. These letters are on a red background. All the way around the edge of the sign is a dark blue 1/4” wide border. The sign has 4 mounting holes. The mounting holes have fracturing on the enamel porcelain from having been previously mounted. This fracturing shows up on the face and back side of the sign both. Above the top mounting hole there is a chipped area on the blue border. There is also a little slice chip on the edge 2 1/2” to the right from the top mounting hole. The sign is in fair condition. It shows areas of rubbing and scratching on the face with soiling on the back side. The sign measures 11 3/4” across. We are listing the sign in an “as is, as found” above described condition. So, thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
