CHINESE EROTICA - at the ultimate level of fine art - imagination - skill and of course quality. This incredible Double-stoppered Enamel on Copper Bottle which is exquisitely painted and depicts three young women - nude - at play. Could be the Chinese version of the Three Graces..perhaps. ; On one side two on a swing and one bathing. On the other side the three women bathe by the edge of a stream . The detail is clear and finely done in black, yellow, white and some lotus blossoms in pink and yellow finely painted in the enamel on to the copper sturdy double-stopper bottle. The small spoons and caps are intact and the base of each section is singed in Chinese (unfortunately I do not read Chinese). The stopper tops are fine blue and white porcelain enameled. All in all a tremendous amount of detail on this lovely little objet d'art. The Stopper Spoons are apparently made of - cork and bone. The bottle is also quite large - 2-1/4-inches tall and 2-1/2-inches wide, and of very good weight. It will come to you packed in the lovely old Chinese silk covered box that it arrived in from China to me. My friend travels to the remote villages in the mountains of Mainland China and brings back these treasures - many objets d'art - and I have many more to list.
