Vintage Graniteware Flour Box Rare vintage French flour box, heavy white enamel with cobalt blue trim and bottom seam . The word “ Farine " is in bold black outlined lettering which is enhanced by finely scrolled decors . This wall-hung box retains its original wooden lid . The piece measures about 9½” tall and 7" by 4¼” wide. Flour boxes are very rare in the French enamelware collection, as flour was already represented in the traditional 6-piece canister sets usually proposed to consumers by manufacturers. This piece is in excellent condition with limited wear along the edge of the back plate, and a small ding on the right bottom corner. The wooden lid could use a polish, but is in good shape. The interior is very near mint . All in all, an uncommon and very attractive piece which would delight any French enamelware collector! ! Shipping information · Item located in FRANCE .
