IN THIS AUCTION we are offering an Enchanting Reliquary of the Saint Tse of Lisieux. A small oval Theca - 1 inch (2.5 cm) by 3/4 inch (2 cm) - contains a beautiful pale cream fabric field surrounded by a simple silver twisted band. A banner reads "S. Teresi a J. In. Tse of Lisieux is also known as Tse of the Infant Jesus and the Little Flower of Jesus. This second name - the Little Flower of Jesus - is quite apt when you view the relic, for it seems that the two flanking pieces of gold paper surrounding the star upon which the relic sits, resembles a delicate flower! Tse was cured from an illness at the age of eight when a statue of the Blessed Virgin smiled at her. She became a Carmelite nun at 15. She later dictated her famed autobiography "Story of a Soul", and was a declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997 by Pope John Paul II. Her patronage consists of AIDS sufferers, aviators, florists and flower growers and sick people. When you open the back, you find the threads and Wax Seal are intact. This reliquary is allowed as it contains no human remains. Add this lovely reliquary of this well-loved saint to your Collection or religious and devotional artifacts.
