YOU ARE BIDDING FOR: 1 Copy of The Encyclopedia of Antique Sewing Machines AND 1 Copy of The Handbook of Antique Sewing Machines Latest Editions, By: Charles B. Law You are bidding on one copy of the Encyclopedia. The things in the background are not included. The only reason I'm saying this is that I've actually had people ask if the things in the background were included with the auction.... "The Encyclopedia of Antique Sewing Machines, Third Edition & Addendum" by Charles Law. This book will be the LAST edition printed for awhile. It contains 590 pages packed with information and lots of illustrations of sewing machines. T are over 2000 photos, engravings, diagrams, etc. The book concentrates almost entirely on US-made machines but t is some coverage of European and Asian models. The book covers machines made from the 1850s through 1950s, although concentration is on those made from the 1880s through early 1950s (so if your interest is in very old and rare find-them-only-in museums machines, this book is not for you. However, if you collect and/or use machines that your mother or grandmother used to use, this is the best antique sewing machine resource you will find.
